Chaos Theorem

Assembley of wooden numbers. 30cm x 30cm x 18cm. A theorem is an explanation or expression based on hypothesis and experiments by which it must be proven. This sculpture suggests the current economic and health challenges faced during this pandemic. Under the artist´s perspective it is a call to raise awareness of the responsibility that we all must face to reduce our numbers.

Brain Coral

30cm x 28cm x 16cm, cement and aggregates, modeling and carving. The name elicits images of transformations. The piece is like a coral fossil. It brings to mind human connectivity as a survival activity.

Symbolism of the magnificent pictorial chronicles of Pre-Hispanic civilizations transported from the New World to the halls of Europe; artistic renditions of astronomy, medicine, and agriculture amidst the ceremonial trappings of people rooted to the earth.
